I know a lot of people probably don't even take a look at this page; and I know this because I barely do. But, I've got more work to show, and so I need a place to show it. I thought maybe a new journal was in order to update those who do care on what's going on in my life.

I'm currently attending the Art Institute of Colorado for my Bachelor's in Animation. I'm loving it a hell of a lot and I'm exploring other careers outside of animation; sculpting, character design, storyboarding. All of these are things that greatly interest me, and I'm keeping my grades up to prove it. I finally moved away from the black hole that is my home town, and I've pulled myself into the city of Denver instead. I'm on an adventure with my best friend (who is going to school for culinary), and I wouldn't trade it for the world. We're renting an apartment in Thornton, Colorado, which is basically just a suburb of Denver.

The newest pieces in my deviantART are all from my experiences at school so far. Pat the Zombie was a project for a class I'm taking with Todd Debrecini, where I'm learning skin textures and basic sculpting techniques. The pieces that were roughly painted in Illustrator were for my Digital Manipulation class, and required text, so I opted for musical lyrics from Drops of Jupiter by the band Train.

I'm finally breaking out of my shell. I'm slowly making friends at school, I'm spending more time with my friends here. I've kept old friends online, I've made new ones here, and I've met someone new who sparks my love interest. Overall everything is going well. I would expect to see more new work from me; few, and far between, but eventually maybe I can make the promise that my page will be updated more frequently.
